Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Morgan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpe fails with the takedown.
Morgan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sharpe is defended easily by Morgan.

Sharpe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Morgan clinches with his opponent.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sharpe.

Sharpe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sharpe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morgan avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zachary Sharpe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Morgan.
Sharpe went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Morgan throws a series of punches but Sharpe avoids them all with ease.
Sharpe tries to counter with a takedown but Morgan is quick to defend against it.
Sharpe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morgan tries to avoid it but Sharpe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morgan to the ground. Morgan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Morgan has managed to clinch.
Sharpe putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Morgan in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Sharpe here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Sharpe has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Morgan uses from the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sharpe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morgan as he avoids it easily.
Sharpe shoots in for a double leg but Morgan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sharpe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Morgan walks away with a smile on his face. Sharpe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sharpe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
