Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Rhea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan comes to the cage accompanied by Bite It You Scum by GG ALLIN. On his way into the cage it seems that Joe Hogan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joe Hogan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhea stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hogan.
Hogan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rhea misses with a double jab
and Hogan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rhea's knee momentarily.
Rhea takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rhea takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hogan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rhea tries to bum rush Hogan with a series of wild strikes but Hogan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hogan throws a front kick that sends Rhea stumbling back into the cage.
Hogan keeps Rhea at a distance using the push kick.
Rhea looks winded!
Rhea throws a leg kick but Hogan moved away.
Hogan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rhea's calf.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice body kick from Hogan.

Hogan lands a big uppercut and Rhea crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rhea looks OK. Hogan waves Rhea back to his feet!

Rhea is rocked!

It looks like Ross Rhea has been cut.
Rhea throws a leg kick
and Hogan counters with an inside leg kick.
Rhea is still on wobbly legs! Can Hogan finish him?
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hogan! Rhea is out on his feet! Hogan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rhea is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rhea is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Hogan!
