The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jennings feints and as Santos Jr raises his hands in defense, Jennings changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jennings scoring with punches to the head and body.
Santos Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Santos Jr wants to sweep here but Jennings controlling him for the moment.
Jennings trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jennings trying to control but Santos Jr is working from the bottom.
Jennings has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Jennings postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jennings is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Jennings is in close to Santos Jr's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jennings controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Jennings and the ref steps in to end the fight! Jennings can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Conway Jennings decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
