Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nathan Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arnolf Karstark!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karstark leaves Summers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Karstark throws a series of strikes that have Summers backpedaling.
Karstark is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Karstark throws the left hand but Summers avoids the punch easily.
Summers feinted with a counter takedown.
Karstark works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nice sprawl there from Karstark as Summers shoots in.
Karstark lands a lovely overhand right.


It looks like Nathan Summers has been cut.
Karstark throws a hook to the side of Summers's head but Summers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karstark throws a one two combo.
Karstark connects with the punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Karstark lands with an uppercut that bounces Summers off the cage and back into range.
Summers ducks under a wild hook from Karstark.

Oooooh!!! Karstark has knocked Summers down with a huge combo! Karstark steps away and waves a wobbly Summers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Summers is rocked!

Karstark throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oh Summers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Karstark throws a nice looking combination but Summers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Summers seems to have got his legs back now.
Summers tries for a takedown but Karstark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Karstark looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Summers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Karstark gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Karstark sizes up Summers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Karstark tries to keep at a distance but Summers has taken the fight into the clinch.
Karstark misses with a hook from the clinch.

Summers manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Karstark sitting in guard here, content to control.
Karstark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Summers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Karstark postures up in Summers's guard and throws a big left but Summers blocks it.
Karstark controls from within his opponent's guard.
Karstark throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Summers works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Karstark wants to stand but Summers is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Summers misses with a series of wild punches.
Karstark will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Summers tries to counter by clinching up but Karstark breaks away and moves out of range.
Karstark moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Karstark. No joy for Summers on that attempt.
Karstark throws a counter combo.
Karstark smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


Nathan Summers's cut is getting worse.
Karstark scores with a hook to the body. Summers takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Karstark throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Summers on the side of the head.
Karstark missing with a left hand there. Summers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Summers seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Karstark misses with a few strikes there.
Summers changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Summers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Karstark avoids it really well and circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karstark throws a right and a left that both miss.
Summers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Karstark throws out the jab.
Karstark scores with a decent looking hook.
Karstark throws a jab when Summers was well out of range.
Karstark throws a good cross that connects.
Summers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Karstark to score with a decent uppercut.
Arnolf Karstark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A jab from Karstark does it's job there.
Karstark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Summers ducks under a wild hook from Karstark.
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Karstark swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arnolf Karstark dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nathan Summers's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Summers staying out of range there.
Summers tries to counter with a takedown but Karstark is quick to defend against it.
Karstark's corner calls for a 1-2. Karstark obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Summers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Summers is looking to counter the offense by Karstark and move into the clinch.
Karstark misses the shot to the body.
Summers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Karstark.
Summers tries to counter by clinching up but Karstark breaks away and moves out of range.
Arnolf Karstark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Summers takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nathan Summers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Summers ducks under a wild hook from Karstark.

Summers half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Karstark swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Karstark drops Summers with a beautiful combination! Summers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Karstark is looking for the KO!
Karstark cracks Summers on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Summers falls backwards against the cage. Karstark follows up with more strikes that drop Summers to his knees. Karstark keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Summers! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arnolf Karstark!
In his post fight interview, Arnolf Karstark gave a big smile as he said 'Every time there is a prediction for my fights I am always to lose. Sorry Mr. Writer for proving you wrong again. Thanks to Vikai and I want that belt back I'm coming. '.
