The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomer stuffs the takedown attempt from Nightmare. Nightmare gets slowly back to his feet.

Nightmare is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Boomer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Boomer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Nightmare off and has taken his back!

Boomer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nightmare is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Boomer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nightmare's back instead.

Boomer is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Nightmare knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Nightmare for a finish.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nightmare is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Boomer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nightmare is looking to defend but Boomer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nightmare! Boomer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nightmare taps out and this one is all over!
