With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Liam McGeary!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coleman rushes McGeary and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from McGeary fails to land.
Coleman using the Thai plumb to throw knees but McGeary has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
McGeary displaying some good clinch control by pressing Coleman up against the cage.
Coleman throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but McGeary blocks it with crossed arms.
McGeary misses with a short punch on the inside.
Coleman prevents a body shot from McGeary.
Coleman throws an elbow that misses.
Coleman unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Coleman.
McGeary drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Coleman gets the underhooks and prevents it.
McGeary lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coleman creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through McGeary's defenses.
Coleman tries to land knees in the clinch but McGeary avoids the damage to the body.

It looks like Liam McGeary has been cut.

Coleman is pushing McGeary up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Liam McGeary's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Coleman lands a vicious elbow to the side of McGeary's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Coleman tries to finish him with strikes but McGeary still seems able to defend himself so Coleman steps back and lets McGeary get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Liam McGeary's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Michael Coleman!
Liam McGeary spoke after the fight, saying 'I don't have much to say. Congratulations to my opponent, I just wasn't ready tonight.'.
