Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yun Fat Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaemin Jeong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeong is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Itaewon Freedom - UV feat JY Park. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yun Fat Chow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaemin Jeong!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Chow - just one landing.
Yun Fat Chow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jeong looks to score with a jab to the body but Chow is just out of range.
Jeong throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jeong scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jeong tries to land a leg kick but Chow saw it coming and moves away.
Jeong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jeong there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chow defending well as Jeong loads up on a big left hand.
Chow seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Chow gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jeong to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Chow looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Jeong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chow swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chow lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Chow. Jeong shrugs it off though.

Jeong tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Chow prevents a body shot from Jeong.
Jeong wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jeong throws a head punch that misses.
Jeong takes an elbow to the temple.
Jeong fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jeong blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chow.

Chow throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Chow lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Chow throws a punch but it's blocked by Jeong.

Jeong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chow throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jeong counters with a leg kick.
Chow looks to land a right hand but Jeong moved out of range.
Jeong now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Chow scores with a decent looking hook.
Jeong lands with a kick to the ribs.
Jeong throws a body punch but Chow moves out of range.
Jeong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Chow pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jeong back to the cage. Chow follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jeong moves away.
Chow connects with the punch.
Jeong throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Chow is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jeong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chow doesn't seem bothered though.
Nice takedown defense from Chow. No joy for Jeong on that attempt.
Chow tries to close the distance and clinch but Jeong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jeong.
Jeong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Jeong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chow tries to score with a low kick but Jeong moves his leg out of the way.
Jeong throws a nice outside leg kick.

Chow clinches up with Jeong and pushes him back against the cage.

Jeong has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Chow clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
What can Chow do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Yun Fat Chow will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Chow throws an overhand right that lands on Jeong's shoulder, as Jeong tries to avoid the shot.
Jeong lands with a cross.
Jeong takes a swing at Chow's ribcage but misses.
Chow on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Chow avoids the head kick by Jeong.
Jeong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Chow holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jeong blocking some punches.
Chow lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jeong backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jeong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chows head.

Chow creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Chow misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jeong.

Chow lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jeong backwards.

Jeong is pushing Chow up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jeong is trying to push Chow away but Chow has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Chow is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jeong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jeong's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Jeong counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chow thinking.
Chow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jeong.

Jeong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chow sprawls well initially but Jeong persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Chow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jeong is working away from the top position though.

That kick from Chow tenderised Jeong's leg. Jeong is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jeong was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jeong lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chow has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chow and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jeong slips a straight right by Chow.
Jeong doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Jeong lands with a nice body kick.
Jeong takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Jab from Chow.
Jeong has a takedown stuffed.
Chow is looking to counter the offense by Jeong and move into the clinch.
Jeong misses with an uppercut.
Jeong pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jeong looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Chow moves out of range as Jeong throws a body kick.
Jeong tried to score with a low kick but Chow checks it.
Jeong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chow. That did some damage!
Chow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jaemin Jeong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jeong has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
