The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carney tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Machida swivels and escapes.
Carney slips a jab and a cross from Machida.
Carney appears to be looking for a big counter.
Machida scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Korey Carney has been cut.
Machida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carney tries to avoid it but Machida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carney to the ground. Carney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Machida lands with an uppercut that bounces Carney off the cage and back into range.

Carney is rocked!
Machida closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Carney out cold! Carney corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
