The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Banner.

It looks like Tyler Davies has been cut.
Davies fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Banner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davies was well out of range. Poor timing from Banner.
Davies tries to move into range but Banner moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jab, jab by Banner - just one landing.
Davies throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Banner pushes Davies up against the cage in a clinch.
Banner lands a damaging elbow.
Banner lands with a short shot to the head.

Tyler Davies's cut is getting worse.
Davies tries to land knees in the clinch but Banner avoids the damage to the body.
Banner misses with a punch to the body.
Davies is working for takedown but Banner is calmly controlling the position for now.
Banner gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Tyler Davies's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Banner lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Banner throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Banner misses with an elbow over the top.

Banner goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Banner creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Banner comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Jeez, Tyler Davies's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
