Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beef Jerky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Marduk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerky comes to the cage accompanied by Whoop Somebodies Ass. Marduk has chosen Three 6 Mafia - It's A Fight as his entrance music. Beef Jerky is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marduk missing with a left hand there. Jerky was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

It looks like Beef Jerky has been cut.

Marduk throws a leg kick that misses.
Jerky seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Donk. Marduk catches Jerky right on the button with a cross.
Marduk throws a hook to the side of Jerky's head but Jerky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marduk thuds a left hand into Jerky's body.
Jerky uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marduk.
Jerky seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Jerky throws a shot from downtown. Marduk moves away and avoids it.
Jerky has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marduk finds it's way round the side to connect with Jerky's head.

Marduk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jerky circles away quickly and effectively.

Marduk lands a really nice looking cross but Jerky seems unphased.

Marduk slips under a jab.
Jerky staying out of range there.
Jerky tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Marduk manages to circle out of the way.
Jerky blocks a jab.
Jerky is looking to counter the offense by Marduk and move into the clinch.
Jerky throws an overhand right that lands on Marduk's shoulder, as Marduk tries to avoid the shot.
A nice side step and Marduk releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Craig Marduk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marduk throws the left hand but Jerky avoids the punch easily.
As Marduk tries to get set, Jerky tries to push him back and clinch up but Marduk manages to avoid the attempt.
Marduk on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Marduk throws a big shot that misses.

Marduk slaps away a takedown attempt from Jerky, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Marduk throws a lazy right hand but Jerky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jerky is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Marduk.
Marduk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jeez, Beef Jerky's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jerky definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jerky moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Craig Marduk has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Jerky as he connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jerky ducks right into an uppercut from Marduk.
Marduk darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jerky drops his hands momentarily and Marduk takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Marduk lands a big right hand that sends Jerky crashing to the mat! Marduk stays standing though and waves Jerky back to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Beef Jerky's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Beef Jerky spoke after the fight, saying 'I of course would of liked to of won this fight...But I DONT see it as a loss. I see it as an incredible educational tool I can learn from and I appreciate every moment.'.
