The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayo throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling dos Passos to counter with a crisp jab.

dos Passos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mayo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as dos Passos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mayo wants to control from the top but dos Passos keeps moving.

dos Passos seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Mayo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. dos Passos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mayo stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and dos Passos has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Mayo manages to get his head free but now dos Passos has transitioned to an armbar! Mayo grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from dos Passos! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
