Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesco White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Smoke the Fire as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dakota Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesco White!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
White is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
White is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brooks.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

White decides to pull guard.

White scrambles and gets back to his feet.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Brooks lands with a shot to the body.
White keeps the fight on the outside.
Brooks misses with a left hand

and White counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White moves into full mount! Brooks won't be happy about that!
White lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
White landing strikes, looking to finish!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
White is in the full mount, landing strikes.
White looking to control and managing it successfully.

White is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Brooks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
White moves in looking to clinch but Brooks pushes him off.

White closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brooks's guard.
Brooks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brooks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

White has an Americana. Brooks didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! White is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if White hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
