The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duris connects with a crisp jab.
Duris rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Vakarchuk counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vakarchuk.

Duris looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Vakarchuk is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Duris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vakarchuk defends it easily.
Duris has momentary wrist control but Vakarchuk slips an elbow through the middle.
Vakarchuk lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Vakarchuk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vakarchuk postures up and lands a big shot to Duris's brow.
Vakarchuk postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Vakarchuk trying to control the position from guard on top but Duris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vakarchuk advances position into side control!
Duris trying to remain calm as Vakarchuk controls from the top position.
Vakarchuk is chipping away with strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duris is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Duris is looking to reverse the position.
Vakarchuk looks up at the clock and then as Duris takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Vakarchuk smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Duris felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Duris tries to buck Vakarchuk off but Vakarchuk is having none of it.
Vakarchuk in side control lands a decent elbow.

It looks like Vladimir Duris has been cut.
Duris on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

That has opened up Vladimir Duris's cut even more.

Vakarchuk wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Duris, who protects the arm well.
Vakarchuk trying to control the action but Duris is working from the bottom.

Vakarchuk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Duris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Duris is looking to regain half guard here but Vakarchuk keeps moving and retains side control.
Vakarchuk is working Duris over with some ground and pound from side control.
Vakarchuk is chipping away with strikes.

Vladimir Duris's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vladimir Duris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Svyatoslav Vakarchuk!
