Ibaka kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eros Ramazzotti - Un'Emozione Per Sempre . Medvedev is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Ibaka cracks Medvedev with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Medvedev tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ibaka pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Medvedev is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Serge Ibaka!
An out of breath Serge Ibaka thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
