Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lou Hole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JC Seraphim!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hole fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Seraphim avoids it really well and circles away.
Hole dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Seraphim has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Seraphim throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hole was covering up waiting for the punch and Seraphim finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hole throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Seraphim wants to control from the top but Hole keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hole tries to strike from the bottom.
Seraphim has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hole to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Seraphim is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hole pulls down on the head and he's put Seraphim to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lou Hole!
