A momentary lapse in concentration from Barrett enables Mouba to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barrett manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mouba accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Barrett is pulling down on Mouba's head. It's preventing any offense from Mouba, at least for the moment.
Barrett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mouba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mouba postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That was a close round but I would say that Ali Mouba will probably get the nod.

OH! Mouba has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Barrett smells blood and charges in for the finish! Barrett unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Mouba sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
