Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django Unchained (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malcolm West looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Unchained's waist but Unchained gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing West off to one side.
West wants to clinch.

Unchained turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

West really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Unchained swings around for an armbar but West sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Unchained's guard.

Unchained scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Unchained bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Unchained tries to stand but West is controlling his head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Unchained controls the position.

Unchained tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
West is not content to let Unchained control the position.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
West tries to escape but Unchained is in control.
Unchained controls the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Unchained decides to stand up, so the ref orders West to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Unchained closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into West's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Unchained is in close to West's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Unchained wanted to stand there but West had control of the position.

Unchained drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Unchained jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Unchained controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Django Unchained dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Unchained has an Americana. West didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Unchained is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Unchained hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
