Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Rautio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rautio misses with a series of wild punches.
Rautio dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sonnen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rautio.
Rautio connects with the punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rautio, as that shot connected.
Rautio throws a jab but it's blocked by Sonnen.
Sonnen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rautio is able to avoid easily.
Rautio dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sonnen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Good standup being displayed there by Rautio as he connects with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rautio moves out of range of the body kick.
Sonnen defending well as Rautio loads up on a big left hand.
Rautio scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Chael Sonnen has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Sonnen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sonnen tries a low kick but Rautio avoids it.
Sonnen tries to move into range but Rautio moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Sonnen is rocked!
Sonnen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rautio as he avoids it easily.
Sonnen is still on wobbly legs! Can Rautio finish him?
Rautio drops Sonnen with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rautio follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
