Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lloyd Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Doug Fresh has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Irvin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Irvin showed some decent athleticism there.

Fresh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Irvin winds up and cracks Fresh with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fresh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fresh is trying to control but Irvin manages to pass to mount!
Fresh has given up his back here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fresh is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Irvin is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Fresh has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Irvin has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Fresh's body.
