Alvarez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shields paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alvarez lands a left and a right that send Shields crashing to the mat, dazed. Alvarez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shields is rocked!
It looks like Ty Shields has been cut.
Alvarez feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Shields crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
