Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Schiknsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harry fist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Schiknsi!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schiknsi checks a leg kick.
Schiknsi thows a body shot but no joy.
fist swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
fist misses with a body kick.

A low kick from Schiknsi is predictable there
and fist counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Schiknsi shoots for a double leg takedown but fist sprawls well. He's pushed Schiknsi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schiknsi shoots in looking for a takedown. fist tries to sprawl out of it but Schiknsi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. fist manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Schiknsi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
fist walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Schiknsi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

fist is controlling an arm, preventing Schiknsi from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Schiknsi scores with a hook to the body. fist takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Schiknsi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from fist.
fist dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schiknsi. That did some damage!

Schiknsi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. fist swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harry fist.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for fist, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
