Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilad Shalit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Rolt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shalit comes into the arena with MC Sapinho - Gilad Shalit blaring out of the sound system. Seth Rolt has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Steve Erwin and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shalit misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rolt.
Rolt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shalit defends well and Rolt ends up having to push Shalit into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It looked like Shalit wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
No luck for Rolt with that takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Rolt misses.
Shalit throws a nice looking combination but Rolt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rolt wants to counter the offense by Shalit and move into the clinch position.
Shalit circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Shalit. No joy for Rolt on that attempt.
Gilad Shalit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seth Rolt.
Rolt tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Shalit counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shalit ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rolt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Shalit stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shalit wants it to stay on the feet.

Rolt looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Shalit misses the shot to the body.
Rolt tries a head kick but it misses.
Rolt misses with a body kick.
Rolt ducks under a wild hook from Shalit.
Rolt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shalit pinned against the cage. Shalit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A counter left hand to the body from Shalit misses its target.

Rolt walks into a straight right hand from Shalit.
Shalit circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shalit swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Rolt tries to clinch up but Shalit circles away and keeps his distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shalit darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rolt fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rolt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Shalit. No joy for Rolt on that attempt.
Rolt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rolt misses with a few strikes there.
Rolt looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rolt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shalit sprawls well. Shalit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rolt gets slowly back to his feet.

Shalit ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Rolt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rolt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Shalit drops Rolt with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rolt looks back up at him and smiles so Shalit waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rolt is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rolt walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Shalit swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

After the fight, Gilad Shalit was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
