Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damien Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhael Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Redman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Put Your Lights On by Santana feat Everlast. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mikhael Tomas enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Redman checks a leg kick.

Tomas moves into the clinch.
Tomas takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Mikhael Tomas has been cut.
Redman prevents a takedown attempt there.
Redman pushes off an throws an elbow but Tomas leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tomas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Mikhael Tomas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Redman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
