Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Zepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Gago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zepp's entrance music is Boom! Shake The Room . A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gago shoots and misses
and Zepp counters with a three punch combo that has Gago backing up. Gago nods at Zepp to acknowledge the strikes.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gago has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gago thuds a left hand into Zepp's body.
Zepp circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gago darts in looking for a takedown but Zepp gets double underhooks and turns Gago into the cage.
Zepp lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Gago fails with an attempt to clinch.
A quick step to the side and Zepp tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gago misses with a wild combination.
An attempted straight right counter from Zepp misses the target.

Zepp drops Gago with a beautiful combination! Gago stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Zepp is looking for the KO!

It looks like Igor Gago has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zepp wants to land a leg kick but Gago is out of range.
Gago rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zepp counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Gago closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gago lands in his opponent's guard.

Zepp seems keen to control Gago's posture.

Gago drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Zepp dives on top into guard.

Zepp is looking to stand up but Gago won't let him.
Gago not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Zepp is looking to pass into half guard but Gago pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gago is in guard.

Gago is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Zepp is looking for a triangle but Gago pushes his legs off easily.
Gago wants to control from the top but Zepp keeps moving.

Gago postures up in Zepp's guard and throws a big left but Zepp blocks it.
Gago looking to sit in guard and control but Zepp gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gago throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Zepp escapes and throws Gago's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Gago is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Gago is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zepp off and has taken his back!

Gago has got one arm under Zepp's chin. This could be trouble... Zepp trying to control the other hand but Gago gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Zepp has tapped out! The fight is over!
