Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Heyerdahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnus Cross had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Magnus Cross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thor Heyerdahl!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cross misses with an uppercut
and Heyerdahl counters with an outside leg kick.

Cross clinches up with Heyerdahl and pushes him back against the cage.
Heyerdahl's coach down at Fitness elite 24/7 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Heyerdahl's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Cross scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Heyerdahl jumps guard but Cross turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Heyerdahl is pushing Cross up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Heyerdahl tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Cross swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Cross breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Heyerdahl lands a big head kick that sends Cross tumbling to the mat! Heyerdahl takes a step backwards and waves Cross back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Magnus Cross has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice body punch from Cross.
Cross just misses with a punch to the body.
Cross avoids the head kick by Heyerdahl.
Cross looks to score with a jab to the body but Heyerdahl is just out of range.
Heyerdahl throws a fast counter high kick but Cross manages to duck under it in time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heyerdahl lands with a slapping head kick.
Cross tries to clinch up but Heyerdahl circles away and keeps his distance.
Cross connects with a good right hand that stumbles Heyerdahl. Heyerdahl circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Heyerdahl thows a leg kick but Cross checks it

and Cross counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Heyerdahl down! Cross is looking to finish but Heyerdahl is intelligently defending himself.

Heyerdahl is rocked!
Cross stands up over Heyerdahl, holding on to his feet. Cross throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Heyerdahl is out cold! Cross lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Magnus Cross!
