Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicol Bolas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flint misses with a looping left.
Bolas closes the distance but Flint moves to the side
and Flint counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Flint misses with a series of wild punches.

Bolas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Flint's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bolas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bolas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Flint fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bolas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Flint bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bolas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Flint avoids it really well and circles away.
Bolas clobbers Flint with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Bolas clinches up with Flint and pushes him back against the cage.

Bolas tightens his grip and picks Flint up, before dumping him to the ground. Flint manages to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bolas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bolas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
