PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Teeto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Zyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zyb is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Battle" by Gangstarr. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teeto misses with a hook. Zyb ducked under it nicely.
A head kick by Zyb misses
and Teeto counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zyb's knee momentarily.
Zyb takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Teeto throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Teeto moves out of range of the body kick.
Zyb misses with a low kick as Teeto jumps back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teeto throws a wild body kick that Zyb sees coming a mile off.

Zyb throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Teeto definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Teeto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zyb takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mr Teeto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A thudding body kick lands there by Teeto!
Teeto connects with a leg kick. Zyb looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Teeto tries to land a front kick but Zyb steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Teeto smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Teeto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A head kick misses from Zyb.
Teeto is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Zyb.
Teeto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Teeto wants it to stay on the feet.
Chris Zyb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Teeto appears to be looking for a big counter.

Teeto throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zyb stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Teeto lands a nice looking kick to the body. Zyb takes a step back to recover.

Teeto unloads a knee to the mid-section. Zyb lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Teeto lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Teeto digs a right hand into Zyb's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Zyb's gas tank.

Zyb has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Teeto seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Zyb can turn it around.

Teeto digs a right hand underneath Zyb's ribcage. Zyb let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Teeto creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Zyb's defenses.
Teeto presses Zyb against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Teeto creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Teeto pushes Zyb against the cage. Teeto is working some dirty boxing. Teeto pushes off with a quick right hook! Zyb goes down! Zyb tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Teeto moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
