Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edson Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Muldoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hard Hittaz by Three 6 Mafia. Dave Muldoon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mendes isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Muldoon stacks Mendes on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Muldoon!

Mendes jumps guard and drags Muldoon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Mendes has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Muldoon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mendes.

Mendes had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Muldoon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mendes Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Muldoon's back instead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
