Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pelle Paniikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmey The Gangster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Paniikki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to N'sync - Bye Bye Bye. On his way into the cage it seems that Pelle Paniikki has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pelle Paniikki seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Gangster throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Paniikki counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've been hearing reports that Paniikki has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
The Gangster thows a body kick. Paniikki tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Paniikki has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Paniikki there as he acknowledges the shot.
Paniikki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Gangster as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Paniikki or perhaps it was just good defense by The Gangster, which made it look bad.

Paniikki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Gangster avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pelle Paniikki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Paniikki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in The Gangster's guard.

Paniikki has gone for a leg lock! The Gangster slips out almost immediately though and dives into Paniikki's guard.

The Gangster got a little sloppy there for a moment and Paniikki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Gangster has managed to get both his arms back between Paniikki's legs - danger averted.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw The Gangster working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The Gangster is pushing down on Paniikki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Paniikki is fighting to maintain full guard but The Gangster has managed to sneak the leg through.

The Gangster has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Paniikki to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! The Gangster is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Paniikki pulls down on the head and he's put The Gangster to sleep! This one is all over!
