Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bingo Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Navas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Star comes into the arena with Octopus's garden blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bingo Star!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fernando Navas!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Star moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A swing and a miss from Navas.

Star gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Star.
Navas can't find room to land a body shot as Star controls the action.
Star drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Navas tries to throw a body punch but Star avoids it by throwing Navas back against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Star breaks the clinch.
Star shoots in but Navas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Star closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Navas quickly recovers to half guard.
Star throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Star missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Navas wants to control but Star is keeping busy.
We've been hearing that Star has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Star looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Navas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Navas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Star pulls his head out easily.
Navas is doing well to control the position and prevent Star from advancing to side control.
Star has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Star wants to pass to mount but Navas is defending the position.
Star thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Navas's head.
Navas taking some punishment here, with Star in his half guard.

Star is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Navas defends it well.
Navas is looking to control Star's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Navas avoid being mounted?
Navas is looking for a sweep. Star is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Navas wants to get back to full guard.

Star seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Navas is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bingo Star!
In his post fight interview, Bingo Star started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
