The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gordon instigates a clinch.
Gordon scores with a nice hook to the head.

Contreras breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Contreras takes one to the side of the head.
Contreras avoids a punch combination nicely.
Contreras tries to counter by clinching up but Gordon breaks away and moves out of range.

Gordon darts in and clinches Contreras up against the cage.
Contreras stalls.

Contreras breaks from the clinch.
Gordon with a hook.
Gordon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Contreras throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gordon counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gordon keeps the fight on the outside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gordon tries to keep at a distance but Contreras has taken the fight into the clinch.

Gordon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Contreras breaks from the clinch.
Gordon pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Contreras back to the cage. Gordon follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Contreras is rocked!
Gordon connects with a superb combination that knocks Contreras out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Gordon before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Contreras!
