Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Light Diode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Terell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diode comes into the arena with Warren G and Nate Dogg - Regulate blaring out of the sound system. Terell has chosen Let's Go-Lil Jon ft. Trick Daddy and Twista as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diode takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Terell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diode.
Diode blocks a jab.
Diode tries to close the distance and clinch up but Terell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Terell throws a right hand that Diode ducks under and follows up with a left that Diode also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Diode, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It seemed like Terell was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Terell takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Mason Terell has been cut.
Terell misses the shot to the body.
Diode slips under a jab from Terell.
A jab lands there for Diode.
Diode drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Terell has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Diode is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Terell.
Diode connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Terell some visible discomfort.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Terell sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Diode got a little sloppy there for a moment and Terell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diode has managed to get both his arms back between Terell's legs - danger averted.
Terell isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Diode stacks Terell on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Diode!

Diode lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Terell down.

I would just about give that final round to Mason Terell.
I think Diode has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
