Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ambrogio Ballestrazzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torrelio Sacana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ballestrazzi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Foxes - Holding Onto Heaven. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Torrelio Sacana!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sacana scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ballestrazzi.
Ballestrazzi scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Torrelio Sacana has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Sacana 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sacana tries to score with a low kick but Ballestrazzi moves his leg out of the way.
A big right from Ballestrazzi misses.
Ambrogio Ballestrazzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sacana circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sacana on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ballestrazzi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sacana as he avoids it easily.
Sacana moves out of range as Ballestrazzi throws a body kick.
Sacana uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ballestrazzi.

Ballestrazzi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ballestrazzi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ballestrazzi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sacana can pounce on him.
Ballestrazzi shoots in looking for a takedown. Sacana tries to sprawl out of it but Ballestrazzi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sacana manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sacana changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ambrogio Ballestrazzi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Good leg kick by Ballestrazzi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ballestrazzi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sacana.
Ballestrazzi cracks Sacana with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ballestrazzi. Sacana does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sacana tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ballestrazzi defends well and Sacana ends up having to push Ballestrazzi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ballestrazzi cracks Sacana with an uppercut from hell and Sacana crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Ballestrazzi's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Sacana is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ballestrazzi gets to his feet and stands over Sacana, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Sacana felt that one! Ballestrazzi unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Sacana from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ambrogio Ballestrazzi!
Our winner, Ambrogio Ballestrazzi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Torrelio Sacana had this to say: 'I blame my loss on the current economic crisis'.
