Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Spears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naruto Uzumaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzumaki wants to clinch up but Spears keeps it at a distance.

Uzumaki darts in and clinches Spears up against the cage.
Spears has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Spears wants to break the clinch but can't.
Spears is trying to break free.

Uzumaki manages to break the clinch.
Uzumaki moves to clinch but Spears breaks away
and Spears counters with a nice body shot.
Uzumaki takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Naruto Uzumaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spears displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Uzumaki.
Uzumaki takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Spears fails in his attempt to clinch.
Spears misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Uzumaki.
Uzumaki changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Spears throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Uzumaki was covering up waiting for the punch and Spears finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Spears really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Spears is looking to work some ground and pound but Uzumaki has wrist control.

Spears makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spears got a little sloppy there for a moment and Uzumaki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Spears has managed to get both his arms back between Uzumaki's legs - danger averted.

Uzumaki wants to get back to his feet.

Spears is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Uzumaki is just riding it out for now. Spears eventually gives up the hold.

Spears has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Spears prevents Uzumaki from improving his position.

Spears maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Uzumaki could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Spears has cracked it and Uzumaki is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Spears!
