Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake The Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyov Kirijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake The Snake had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Lyov Kirijenko!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as The Snake checks a leg kick.
The Snake fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kirijenko on the side of the head.

The Snake takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kirijenko takes a little break here. The Snake wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Kirijenko is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down The Snake's shoulder. That is not cool.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kirijenko cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Kirijenko postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks The Snake out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Kirijenko goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lyov Kirijenko!
A relieved looking Lyov Kirijenko thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
