Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Galt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Galt!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee lunges at Galt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Galt's hand.
McGee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
McGee throws a head kick that misses.
Galt tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Galt tries to score with a low kick but McGee moves his leg out of the way.
McGee lands a jab to the nose.
Galt throws a leg kick but McGee sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Galt on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
McGee lands with an uppercut that bounces Galt off the cage and back into range.
McGee throws a front kick that sends Galt stumbling back into the cage.
Galt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGee tries to avoid it but Galt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGee to the ground. McGee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGee takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Galt tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and McGee is able to avoid easily.
McGee lands a leg kick that knocks Galt off balance momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGee misses with a kick to the body
and Galt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Galt misses with a head kick.
McGee connects with a solid leg kick.
A swing and a miss from McGee.
McGee connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McGee pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

McGee has Galt up against the cage in a clinch.
Galt throws a punch but it's blocked by McGee.

McGee manages to break the clinch.
Galt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McGee counters with a leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Galt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A bone on bone clash there as Galt blocks the leg kick.

Whack! McGee lands a heavy head kick that drops Galt. The ref tackles McGee to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Galt was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Bobby McGee!
Bobby McGee spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
