Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sal Bartlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bartlett to the ground. Cooper is now in Bartlett's guard.
Cooper is in close to Bartlett's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Bartlett working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cooper.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cooper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cooper trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cooper trying to control but Bartlett is working from the bottom.
Cooper distracts Bartlett with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
It looks like Sal Bartlett has been cut.
Bartlett is trying to keep Cooper in close.
Bartlett wants to stand but Cooper is controlling the position.
Cooper postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cooper throws an elbow that misses. Bartlett uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cooper's guard. Nice move by Bartlett!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bartlett is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cooper has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bartlett is looking to defend but Cooper has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bartlett! Cooper pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bartlett taps out and this one is all over!
