Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hans Goble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregor Samsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans Goble has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hans Goble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gregor Samsa!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samsa thows a body kick. Goble tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Samsa closes the distance and clinches.

Samsa manages to break the clinch.
Samsa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Samsa wants it to stay on the feet.
Samsa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Hans Goble has been cut.
Samsa throws a nice inside leg kick.
Goble shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Samsa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Goble misses with a takedown
and Samsa counters with a head kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hans Goble. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Samsa misses with a body shot.
Samsa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Goble is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Samsa.
Goble looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Samsa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Goble throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Samsa's waist but Samsa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goble off to one side.
Despite the aggression on Samsa's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Samsa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Samsa lands a lovely overhand right.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goble fails with the takedown
and Samsa counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Goble tries for a takedown but Samsa circles away easily
and Samsa counters with a series of strikes. Goble will be more careful next time no doubt.


Goble is rocked!
Goble will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh Goble is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Goble looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Samsa is fending him off so far but Goble persists. Nope, Samsa circles away and we're back to standing.
Samsa throws a quick head kick that knocks Goble silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Samsa is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Gregor Samsa!
Gregor Samsa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
