Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Galasso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Mera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mera shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Galasso manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Enzo Galasso will probably get the nod.
That's time! Galasso's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Galasso looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mera working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Mera misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Galasso regains half guard there - taking advantage of Mera's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mera cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
