Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boot Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head has chosen Indeed, a Boot to one's Head. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Head but Head pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jab by Head.
Head connects with a looping right hand.
Nice sprawl there from Head as Norris shoots in.
Head fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Head jabs at Norris's body.
Boot Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Norris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Head as he jumps to the side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Head bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Norris's head.

It looks like chuck Norris has been cut.
Head really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Norris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Head is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Norris's shoulder. That is not cool.

Head decides to stand up, so the ref orders Norris to his feet.

Boot Head is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Head fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Norris on the side of the head.
Head connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Norris's hands.

Head wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Head lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Norris shoots in looking for a takedown. Head tries to sprawl out of it but Norris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Head manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Head, as that shot connected.
Norris has a takedown stuffed.

The fight stays on the outside here - Head looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Head jabs Norris right on the nose. Norris blinks but takes it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Head misses with a two punch combination.
Head stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Head throws a shot to the body.
Head thuds his right hand into Norris's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Head dips to his left and cracks Norris with an uppercut!

Head clinches.

Head breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Norris takes one on the button.
Norris keeps the fight on the outside.

Head instigates a clinch.
Head pushes Norris back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Still in the clinch, Head scores with a nice short uppercut.
Head lands a body punch.
Head stalls.

Head lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Norris prevents Head from breaking the clinch.

Head pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Norris doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Norris takes one to the side of the head.
Head misses with the combination.
Norris walks into a stiff left hand from Head.
Norris has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Head finds it's way round the side to connect with Norris's head.
Head lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Norris at a distance.
Norris walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Head throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Norris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Head connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Norris's hands.
Norris takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Head ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Head has Norris up against the cage in a clinch.

Head manages to break the clinch.
Head cracks Norris with an open hand slap.
Head throws a push kick but Norris slaps the foot to one side.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Norris. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Head throws a combination. Norris tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Head stalks Norris and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Norris's face. Norris staggers backwards, shaken.
Norris shoots in but Head avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Head lands with an uppercut that bounces Norris off the cage and back into rage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
