Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temel Dilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ashton's entrance music is Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dilli lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ashton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dilli is fending him off so far but Ashton persists. Nope, Dilli circles away and we're back to standing.

Dilli has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Rick Ashton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ashton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dilli bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ashton's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ashton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dilli pinned against the cage. Dilli gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ashton looks up at the clock. Bad move! Dilli lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ashton. Dilli pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
