Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Wad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Mouba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wad keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wad misses with a leg kick.

Mouba shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wad keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Mouba thows a huge punch but Wad dodges it nicely.
Mouba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wad does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mouba can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mouba tries to buck Wad off but Wad is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wad remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Mouba bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Dick Wad will probably get the nod.

Mouba shoots in for a takedown but Wad shows good takedown defense.
Wad swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wad connects with a crisp jab.

Mouba tries to free his leg and advance position but Wad is retaining full guard.
Wad pulls Mouba in close to his closed guard and prevents Mouba from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Wad fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mouba looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wad cracks Mouba with a hook to the temple - Mouba is on wobbly legs here! Wad swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Mouba falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Wad wins by TKO!
