Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Luenski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Weidhead Hesten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Luenski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Weidhead Hesten!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luenski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hesten counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Luenski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hesten pinned against the cage. Hesten gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hesten looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Luenski fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscar Luenski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luenski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hesten! But no joy.
Luenski dives in for a single leg takedown but Hesten sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Luenski is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Beast Playground that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Luenski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Hesten counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Luenski thinking.
Luenski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hesten as he avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Hesten on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Luenski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hesten leaves Luenski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Weidhead Hesten showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hesten unleashes a big counter combination but Luenski bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Horrible takedown attempt by Luenski or perhaps it was just good defense by Hesten, which made it look bad.

Luenski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hesten walks away with a smile on his face. Luenski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hesten is trying to trip Luenski. He has hold of a leg but Luenski is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hesten persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hesten is looking to stand up but Luenski won't let him.
Hesten passes Luenski's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hesten slows the pace down in half guard.
Hesten frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hesten takes Luenski's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Luenski is in trouble.

Oscar Luenski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Luenski breaks Hesten's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Luenski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Weidhead Hesten comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hesten has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
