Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timson Thain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Blade!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade is looking to clinch.
Thain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blade as he jumps to the side.
Thain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blade pinned against the cage. Blade gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Blade darts in and clinches Thain up against the cage.
Blade misses with a punch to the body.
Thain has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Blade after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timson Thain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thain is trying to drag Blade to the mat but Blade just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thain tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Blade struggles to land a body shot inside as Thain controls his hands.
Blade lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Thain backwards.
Blade lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Blade throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Blade lands with a short shot to the head.
Blade misses with a hook to the ribs.
Thain takes a shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blade pushes Thain against the cage. Blade is working some dirty boxing. Blade pushes off with a quick right hook! Thain goes down! Thain tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Blade moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Blade!
A less than humble Jake Blade misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
