Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pete Bonvillian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Muse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Muse has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pete Bonvillian's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonvillian drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bonvillian stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muse swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Muse is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bonvillian defends well.
Bonvillian is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Muse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bonvillian tries to avoid it but Muse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonvillian to the ground. Bonvillian escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bonvillian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bonvillian has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Muse can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bonvillian seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Muse for as long as he can get away with.

Bonvillian is working to tighten his grip on Muse's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Muse has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bonvillian is really squeezing tight and eventually Muse passes out! Bonvillian breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
