The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matheus needs to keep his hands up - Omarzadah had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Jose Matheus has been cut.
A nice combination there by Matheus.
Matheus fails to land with a series of punches.
Matheus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Matheus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Omarzadah misses with a hook.

Omarzadah cracks Matheus with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Matheus looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Omarzadah finish him?

Matheus is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Omarzadah cracks Matheus with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Matheus tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Omarzadah pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Matheus is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sadaq Omarzadah!
Sadaq Omarzadah was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
