Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Leija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Leija might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Original Nuttah. Fernando is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Miss Jackson. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leija fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Leija works Fernando's body with a nice hook.
Fernando tries to close the distance and clinch but Leija swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fernando shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leija as he jumps to the side.
Leija has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Shark Tank in the buildup to the fight.
Fernando gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Leija counters with a straight right hand.
Leija looks to land a combination but Fernando avoids it well.
Leija connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fernando momentarily.

It looks like Manny Fernando has been cut.
Good exchange - Leija coming out on top.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fernando or perhaps it was just good defense by Leija , which made it look bad.
Alfredo Leija has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Fernando.

Leija misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fernando.

Fernando shoots for a double leg takedown but Leija sprawls well. He's pushed Fernando's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Leija circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Fernando to the canvas! Fernando doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Leija keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
