Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Messiah tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Messiah to the ground. Messiah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Messiah.
Isaac Messiah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jefferson Silva.
Messiah throws a nice inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Messiah tries to land a front kick but Silva steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Silva darts in looking for a takedown but Messiah gets double underhooks and turns Silva into the cage.
Messiah fires out a quick counter leg kick but Silva just manages to avoid it.
Silva fails to land the takedown.
Messiah throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Messiah fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.
Messiah looks to land a body kick but Silva moved away.
Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Jefferson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Messiah.

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silva pushes down on Messiah's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Messiah wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Messiah is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Messiah avoid being mounted?
Messiah is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
