Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Otso Koski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, RL Lacoste!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Lacoste does no damage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lacoste has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Koski scores with a jab to the body.
Koski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lacoste. Lacoste circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Koski fakes the leg kick and cracks Lacoste in the body.
Koski feints and then cracks Lacoste's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lacoste down.
Lacoste circles away from the clinch attempt.
Koski slips a jab from Lacoste.
Good leg kick by Koski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Koski pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lacoste tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Koski.
Koski waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lacoste.
We've been told by Koski's head coaches at Team Butcher Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Good leg kick by Koski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Koski throws a solid leg kick but Lacoste takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Koski.

The fight stays on the outside here - Koski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lacoste ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Koski lands with a thumping leg kick.
Koski looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lacoste avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lacoste is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Lacoste takes a swing at Koski's ribcage but misses.
Koski swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Lacoste counters with a nice body shot.
Koski tries to clinch but Lacoste is having none of it.
Koski blocks a low kick nicely.
Lacoste keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lacoste swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lacoste blocks a leg kick.
Lacoste on the wrong end of a nice jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lacoste.
Lacoste looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Koski is fending him off so far but Lacoste persists. Nope, Koski circles away and we're back to standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Koski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lacoste. That did some damage!
Lacoste takes a swing at Koski's ribcage but misses.

Koski clinches up with Lacoste and pushes him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Koski lands an elbow inside that Lacoste shrugs off.
Koski throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Koski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Koski misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lacoste has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Koski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Otso Koski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of RL Lacoste.
Koski is stalling here.
Koski lands an elbow just above Lacoste 's eye.
Lacoste tries for a takedown but Koski manages to get underhooks.
Koski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Koski throws a punch but it's blocked by Lacoste.
Koski tries to throw a body punch but Lacoste avoids it by throwing Koski back against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Koski.
Koski lands an elbow inside that Lacoste shrugs off.


Lacoste is rocked!
Lacoste blocks the elbow strike.
Lacoste is still on wobbly legs! Can Koski finish him?
Koski throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Koski pushes Lacoste against the cage. Koski is working some dirty boxing. Koski pushes off with a quick right hook! Lacoste goes down! Lacoste tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Koski moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otso Koski!
