Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Zinn and Herman Mudgett. Chooooooooon! I think Zinn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All Day. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 wins, 5 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of London, Herman Mudgett!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mudgett connects with a nice looking jab.
Mudgett rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Zinn counters by moving into the clinch.
I was talking to Zinn's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Zinn keeps control of Mudgett as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mudgett wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Zinn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mudgett looks to land a right hand but Zinn moved out of range.
Zinn seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Mudgett fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Zinn is out of range.
Mudgett rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Zinn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mudgett thinking.
Mudgett misses with a hook.
Mudgett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zinn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zinn on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Mudgett connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mudgett drops Zinn with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Zinn! Mudgett dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Herman Mudgett!
Herman Mudgett decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
